Upcoming Events, Activities, and Announcements
Every year at PVBC we collect donations for Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child is a wonderful mission sponsored by Samaritan's Purse and reaches children all over the world. It is a great way to share the word of Christ and demonstrate our love as Christians. Last year PVBC packed 175 shoeboxes! Please join us this year in this amazing ministry by providing needed supplies and help us beat last years success.
Parents, your child heard the story of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, and God protected him, his family, and a boat full of animals. Noah responded to God with obedience and worship. Immediately, after Noah left the ark, he built an altar to praise and worship God. How does your family worship and praise God?
Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit's wishes. Plead with him, reminding him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere. Ephesians 6:18
We are a family of believers that seeks to extend Jesus's grace, mercy, and forgiveness to all. No matter who you are, or what you have been through, or what questions you have. We want you to be a part of the family. We believe that Jesus extends grace to everyone, and that we should follow in his footsteps.
Come Join Us as we Worship Jesus, Grow in His Grace, and Serve with His Love. Walking into a new church can be intimidating, and at times terrifying depending on your previous church experience. We don't care how you dress, how many tattoos you have, or who you voted for. We're a church full of imperfect people with every story imaginable.
Have a question? Have a prayer request? Maybe you just need someone to talk to. We would love to hear from you. You can either contact us by phone, email, or you can stop into the building during our office hours. We would love to sit down, and help you with whatever you need. We look forward to hearing from you.
Kids are loved and valued at PVBC. We are committed to bringing the Love of Jesus to the children of Pleasant Valley with an age-based curriculum that brings God's word to the children on a level they can understand. Crafts, games, and storytelling are things that you may find happening in the children's rooms on any given Sunday. Our ministry leaders are all fully trained and equipped to look after your young ones as you engage in the worship service. Infants to 6th grade.
Our youth program is alive and active at the PVBC. On the first, third, and fifth Friday of each month at 6:30p.m. you will hear the sounds of teens laughing, learning, and playing as they engage in teen night. We invite you to join us.
Each Wednesday night at 6:30p.m. you are welcome to join in a time of fellowship and Bible study. Open to all adults. If you need a Bible, we can provide one. There's a time of open discussion on the lesson at the end of the meeting. We look forward to having you with us!
Every Wednesday from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. the clothes closet ministry is open to give away FREE clothes to the community. Come in and check us out. Our workers are always ready to help direct you with any of your specific questions, or just lend an ear if you want to talk. Someone is always available if you're in need of prayer. Our Pastor is available at this time and his door is always open. Often, he will be found chatting with visitors as they peruse the clothing racks. Come on by, we'd love to have you stop in.
